If anyone is interested on translating the game to other languages, please reach me out.

Maybe I could help in a Spanish version, I am a spanish/english literary translator. This japanese game is one of those excelent Jp Dreamcast games that must be translated

Hi everyone,
wrapping up for beta testing I did encounter a strange bug:

Some NPCs greet you with an evil-loop blank text window which Rent-A-Hero is unable to escape from!

After carrying proper ivestigation, this is caused by .SNR files going over their fixed RAM allocation of 704Kb and english version goes near to 800 Kb in 16 scenarios!

According to game format, it is possible to remove duplicate text lines and USC already implemented that in editor so only 9 .SNR are now over size limit.

To further cut space as USC suggested, I've repurposed / expanded the in-line words system which will read new "common text" from items chunk as a 2 bytes pointer.

As of today, the new system is in place so hopefully it won't take too much to complete it and start beta testing!

Thanks for your patience guys, we're almost there!

Due to amount of text present in game ( 10K+ lines) I'd strongly suggest to setup a teamwork! :)

When you feel ready to start let me know and I'll provide you the script.

Dear Heroes,

Very happy to share with you, I've just finished working on Multi-Tile Encoding system which is complete and extensively used in game! All thanks to USC's awesome idea!

So far only A25.SNR is slightly over the limit, but I'm sure with USC's new Text Editor and work-in-progress algorithm the percentage could improve even further!

Oh yeah and Gas-Station man is talking now!

Don't stress , it's done when it's done :)

Better do it in your own pace when you want so it eventually gets complete. Stress it and maybe loose all interest. Ez choise !
