Do you have the updated demul from the russian forum or the old crap one 2018 and up.. only emulator out of all of them to emulate lot of pvr hardware features..

The latest version I have is 0.7, build date April 28 2018. If there's a newer release out there I'd be interested in trying it, please let me know where I can snag it. :)

Thankfully I have no issues running RE2 on Redream and MakaronEX, just would like to know what's the deal with Demul. :?:

I have tryed Flycast via RetroArch but there is a standalone version.

I have also tryed Redream.

Used to use MakaronEX myself since at the time it was only one that could Emulate Resident Evil 2 just right Audio in particular.

I would like to have the newer version of Demul myself to have @Ian Micheal do you know the site with other version of Demul?

I used to run an A10-6800k 2GB with HD7750 4GB Hybrid Dual Graphics and 8GB RAM.

I can fully recommend Ryzen 7 5700g it flawlessly plays most if not all I throw at it. I can atleast guarantee 1080p Gaming.

1TB Rocket NVME
1TB WD NVME
6TB HDD
32GB DDR4 - 16GB DDR4 Dedicated to GPU lol nice to have that option.

Compared to my A10 6800k Setup it is amazing 4K Streaming and 1080p Gaming at Ultra Settings 60FPS
I tend to keep 30-60FPS anyway some games in particular [FPS] can make me feel nauseous.

Cpu you need above 3ghz and ok gpu mine is old gtx660 which handles this fine..

If you turn on full emulation on flycast or nulldc which are the same source base they will be very heavy as well.. both these limit rendering and functions to work on low spec hardware..

Wince puts more strain on your cpu with emulation on dc emulators.. But any gpu single core of 3ghz covers that..

The Demul v0.7 180428 at the bottom of that page is the exact one I've been using. Guess I have the latest version after all.

I'm not gonna worry about it since I have other emulators, but the reason I asked about other methods to play WinCE games like RE2 is because I was hoping to compile a list of ways for people to play the game when the Mod is released. Not limited to PC emulators but also Dreamshell SD Adapter, GDEMU, etc (if they provide full compatibility of course).

it has problems with sound, but since I don't have time to deal with it, I'm thinking of posting the image as is, marked as RC (release candidate)

I appreciate the enthusiasm fafadou! Well first thing you should know is I had to create a new YouTube channel, which is where new videos will now be posted. Some (but not all) of my previous videos from my original account will be reuploaded to the new channel as well, so if you subscribed to my original channel, please subscribe to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEzvJ7EUnt1KcXD0n-ItpTg and spread the word. :)

As for the RE2 project, it's coming along nicely! There's still a bit of fine tuning to do as well as further testing on an actual console (to make sure that nothing crashes)- once that's complete, it'll be released. ;)
