You need press (on d-pad) up + start to use inventory.

Hey guys,

Really enjoying this so far as I have never really dabbled with Duke Nukem but sadly just had a save file disappear on me.

I was wondering does this do the same as Half Life where the saves get bigger the further you are into a level?

I only ask as save files have worked perfectly (using a dedicated VMU) up until the end of Death Row (at the sub) where I saved it and then played a little further and died.

I then went to load the game later on in the day and it has vanished and all I have a a 2 block Config.sav file

I am using the build uploaded in this thread by MoeFoh on Wed Mar 19, 2025 9:53 pm

Maybe I just got unlucky and the during the save it corrupted

Yes, the save file can grow. It happens because of a bug in the code (I noticed it, when I already released version 1.1).
I will fix it later when I have free time. Right now I am busy with another project (not for DC).

Plays really well off a CD-R, and I'd say is the definitive version of the game (that I've played, anyway!)
One question, it's weak as hell, but is there a way to activate cheats? I'm nowhere near as good as I though I was at this game and would love to experience it all but I keep dying (I know, get better etc etc) haha

I haven't check cheats yet, so I can't say yet if they work. I'll check it later.

Fixed bug with saving size (the total size of saves is now always 150 blocks).
