Yea any of the previous DC Kickstarter to be honest. Watermelon absolutely. I'd say Falco from Elysian Shadows, as he was a great voice for the DC dev community, but he has pissed off a lot of his backers for being late and going quiet so many times.

Personally I think the last thing the backers of ES want to hear about is backing another kickstarter. After backing a project that is years late with still no release date in sight and not much to show in the way of progress, I wouldn't blame them.

All the evil is there.
It's with projects disrespectful of the backers and preorderers (lies, non respect of the promises, broken trust relationship, bad communication ...) like ES, GCW Zero, Paprium, Slave, RedSpotGames, The Ghost Blade ... that fans of retro-gaming lose confidence and therefore no longer support the financing of projects very ambitious (or not besides, no matter). I think at Line Of Fire, Tanglewood (KS failed on DC but fortunately will still be realized), Escape 2042, Xenocider (KS failed but fortunately will still be realized), Shadow Gangs...
That's what I blame them the most.

Good luck Senile Team. :)

Yea preorder/Kickstarter fatigue has really set in for retro gamers. Backing is slow so far for this project which is a damn crime. Hopefully we can get some bigger press on the game soon...

And yes, I'm shocked too... every time.

Hey Roel, how are things going?

What kind of promtion are you doing to drum up interest? Playing on Izzy's costumes on social media etc. would be perfect timing with Halloween coming up.

So far: posting daily on social media and forums, contacting bloggers and vloggers, contacting print magazines, appearing in podcasts, posting frequent kickstarter updates, and even leaving flyers in local game and comic shops. Also planned: AMA (Ask Me Anything) events, Kickstarter live and more YouTube videos.

Tying in to Halloween is a good idea, although we'll have to celebrate it early. Thanks!
