I don’t think it’s feasible for such a small team/company, seems only insane people like Fonzie can get people motivated to invest crazy amounts of money in such a project

That being said, Shadow Gangs will make a name for the creator in the Sega scene simply because it is a very polished & solid game. If everything works out well (production, communication with the buyers & the likes), he will have gained their trust and funding a new game will be all the more easy…

You forgot about Sega Saturn

not many requests from Sega Saturn scene unfortunatly;
the DC is much bigger and there is fair amount of fans.

Saturn the game will be difficult to port, graphics once under 640*480 they don't look good, and will need a complete redraw or fix.
and then, after, how many people will support a Saturn version?
