Might want to look at the doom ce port on my github as well and use direct draw and sound and get rid of sdl all together..

It's good guide on porting id software type engine with out any layer but what's included..

I fixed the src to build for any user..

Thanks for the src Ian. I'm currently studying them. I plan to get rid of sdl and rewrite duke nukem on pure directx.

Thanks for the src Ian. I'm currently studying them. I plan to get rid of sdl and rewrite duke nukem on pure directx.

Really nice it will help the only problem i have is ram running out of it i made a optimized wince boot bin in the src folder it is linked to run dcdoom.exe etc.. only 1 mb .. Only included what you need to boot unlike the standard one.. which 2mb or even 3mb..

Optimized the sound, now it works fine.
