Other interesting things: when I modded PVR format files in the pak file, they were not VQ. I thought the engine probably didn't support VQ textures, but it does. So 512kb texture is reduced to 64kb.Oh, this is going to be fun.

I have the tools to pak all of the files, so hopefully I can get it close to the PS2 version with a more consistent framerate all of the time.

Will be cool to see what progress you make on HL and SOF!

And HLDC is a pretty good engine for making retail quality FPS games as a base.

Hell yeah now no more guessing how many frames per second the game is running when developing mods it will come in handy.

This is great Ian! Keep up the good work!
How hard would it be to add support for the Panther DC controller/Trackball? It was always rumored that Half Life supported this. Supposedly there is a version floating around out there that uses it, but ive never been able to find it.
