Re: DREAM RIDE for Sega Dreamcast
Looks like the perfect setup for a game like Atari's 'Super Sprint' - spent many (many) hours playing that one on the Atari ST back in the day
Looks good!

Thanks!
I used to play Badlands, Super Sprint, and Super Off Road on my Atari ST.

Looks really cool and I love the little car designs.
Be great to see it evolve into an old skool rally game like Thrash Rally or Neo Driftout.

Re: DREAM RIDE for Sega Dreamcast
I do have some ideas where to take the game, but not sure about how much time I'll have to devote to it. I'm a full-time indie and need to earn money with whatever I make. One of my games got a GOTY in 2023, I'll be porting that to Dreamcast next.
I modelled and rendered the little cars a handful of years ago so it was good to be able to use them without any changes - no rerendering needed! I probably would have given up.
The game features 8 out of 32 that I've done, only because that's all I could fit in Dreamcast VRAM during development. I could probably squeeze one or two more more in there now things have settled down, but really I would want to make a dynamic loader so cars are loaded on demand. We'll see.
