Update of my article (Part 1): Prototypes on Dreamcast

Addition of 20 photos for Dreamcast PAL accessory prototypes and even for a PAL console prototype (different packaging, accessories not released in Europe etc.).

Some prototypes of Dreamcast PAL accessories.

Some packaging were not commercialized. Some of these accessories were never released in Europe.

The Dreamcast that we see in almost every press kit still exists.

Release of a GDI/CDI, a homemade cover and source codes for the original unofficial port of Doom (WinDom with Windows CE) for the Dreamcast.

It was a technical proof of concept, it was not planned to be released.

This game was made in 2000 with a dev kit Katana.

Loading is long, you have to be patient. You can work on it to optimize it.

Doom has been ported many times to Dramcast but this is the first time that a build has been made on the Dreamcast SDK tools.

First up it does not work as well on any dc emulator then it does on hardware
video running on cdr on hardware below..

I dont normaly make any videos of things i work on for Laurent C
and i give all credit to him finding the src and research and link to his site
in the description..

Unofficial Dreamcast port developed on a real dev kit in the early 2000s.
I was tasked with making it work and boot.. I have gone further then that and built many new builds fixing warnings and frame rate dips..

Saving is one way it does not load back still working on it..

This is truly amazing! The speed is great and it plays so well! I can't believe this. This is a HUGE deal.
I see there are modem strings and numbers. What are the chances this has netplay?
