Pictures of random non-member DC collections

Post by dark »

I see some cool pics of significant collections periodically on auctions or blogs. I thought I would start this thread because sometimes it's just fun to look at a collection someone has obviously put a lot of work or money into, regardless of whether it is a dc-talk member or not.

Complete set of new unplayed 216 PAL DC games. No broken cases. (actually includes more than 216 games when counting doubles of the games)

Complete sega collection with CIB game fullsets for SMS, MD, 32X, Sega CD, Pico, Saturn and Dreamcast. And apparently some SNES stuff too off on the side. This might be US releases only, as I'm not so sure I really see Japanese DC or Saturn games on these shelves...

Hey thanks for showing my collection. It's true I only have US / North American release titles for Dreamcast, except for my Hello Kitty system. I do have Nintendo stuff as well but mainly it's not shown.

If you guys have any questions let me know, and thanks again.

Welcome! Very impressive collection to have All the Sega Console US games. I'm still working on my DC collection after 15 years. More money! Could you value this collection? I would guess it's worth as much as a small home.

Thanks, as far as value..that's a tough question. Theoretically just north of 100k US but for someone to want to drop that kind of coin seems unlikely, plus they would have to take all the chaff, which when you complete sets means more than half your collection is chaff. I am not in it for the money, but I can tell you I have not spent even half of what i's worth. I have been at it for nearly a decade, I don't have kids and my wife and I both work
