I just gave it a few more tries but was only able to best my previous. I'll try again later.

Dreamcast Live Competition #12 - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
It does seem to me that, as you get older, there are more things conspiring against you and your quest to keep on gaming. When I first got my DC I would play four or five games a week; a few hours on F355, get through a survival horror, reach a late stage of an RPG etc. I'm guessing I played around 25 hours per week at least ! Nowadays I'm lucky if I manage a couple of hours a week if any at all
A few years ago I met this guy who worked at Warthog during the time they were making Starlancer for DC. He was heavily involved in it's making and was full of excitement about the Dreamcast and Starlancer in particular. He even drew a sketch of one of the ships on a beer mat for me (unfortunately I lost that). Anyway, to get to my point lol, I ask him what games he was playing at that time and he replied "Oh I never get the chance to play games any more, haven't played them for years, I'm always far too busy !". I was quite taken aback, I'd just assumed that if you worked in the game industry that you would be playing games most of the time ! Lol
Personally I'm getting a bit peeved at the lack of gameplay time in my life ATM, so I'm trying to work out a system whereby I can still play a decent amount whilst also getting 'life stuff' sorted out. It's not an easy thing to achieve !

i whole heartedly agree Neo! I just got Mass Effect 3 on the 360 and haven't even gotten on it yet. I'm hoping to find more time after the wedding to play games but at the moment I'm barely on any console for an hour, maybe 2, per week? which really, REALLY sucks

Less time on the forums; More time on the games. Problem solved.DCUltrapro wrote:i whole heartedly agree Neo! I just got Mass Effect 3 on the 360 and haven't even gotten on it yet. har har har, dude I only come on here mostly when I'm at work and have done my work for the day, or when I'm on lunch... having a fiance I live with who hates my games and wants to watch soaps and talent contests every evening doesn't help either!

Re: Dreamcast Live Competition #12 - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Yeah, that's what I'm saying bro! Instead of hitting the forums from the office, bring in a DC! Just trying to seek creative solutions to your lack of time to game but, alas, you're right, it would be hard to get much work done with a DC on the desk
I still think it's funny how it says "for office use" on the DC, though.
And, I will be playing a bit of THPS 2 this weekend. Post some scores then

Well, I managed to move up one in the rankings with my latest score:
Man Neohound, you rule at this game! Do you actually know the buttons or do you just button mash like me?

Another week! Awesome, now I get a chance to participate. I've had this on the N64 since I was little, but I just found the DC version at a store yesterday. Here's my score:
