Keep practicing. THPS isn't a pick up and play game. If you want to be good at it, you need to know how the physics work and find the best string of combos to pull off. The reason why I'm not entering this THPS 1 contest is the most primitive of them all, and it's very hard to go back once you find the game that best suits you. In my case it was THUG 2.

I played a crapload of THPS2, so I have a feeling I'll start trying to Manual throughout.

Regardless, you're in first place since there aren't any other entries yet so congrats!

You can't manual in THPS1 so good luck trying to sting together a good combo.

I was once a very good player hence my frustration, not playing for a couple of years really builds the rust.

This is legit the first time I've played this game in years. It's hard to keep combos going without a manual. Also I could sometimes go like 30 seconds after the timer ended by doing that.

Anyways... I take my spot at last as usual.

I'm definitely no pro at the game either. I do a lot of button mashing which inevitably leads to a lot of fails. I'm gonna give this a try later today so we'll see how I do.

Same here, but I have played with professionals years ago. This is bringing up the old days when I used to contribute to online games that were no more on the PS2.
