This looks to use a barrel connector. So it would have an external power supply. "Wall wart"

I have the dream psu power supply, which uses an external brick for power. But it still have a fee things inside to supply voltage properly to where it needs to go. These two look kinf of similar.

This new one is only $45 (for now) with an adapter. Seems like a good price for a piece of hardware made specifically for the Dreamcast. I have a DreamPSU for one of my Dreamcasts, but I'm going to pre-order one of these for my other one.

You can no longer buy a new DreamPSU, so this is the way to go now!

Hey everyone! Just got one of these in the mail. Been looking for a power brick to use but just not sure which one to buy. I know i need the 12v 3a center positive, its just all the ones on amazon seem cheap. Anyone have personal experience with a reliable external brick for one of these?

The DC PSU is very simple, why not just slightly modify the stock one to be more robust, and generate less heat? I mean just by replacing the caps with some quality new ones, and the voltage regulators its already an nice upgrade

These seem to have disappeared from their store with no information, anyone know if they're gone for good?
