This research ended up locating another key SDK for DC/Naomi which should pop on Yahoo auctions pretty soon, but will make a dedicate post on that!

Prior to this discovery, I assumed NL being originally developed for internal use and distributed later to third party ones ( DOA2, MVC2, Power Stone).
So yeah this discovery made it apparent third party developers had distinct SDK options by SEGA and as you said, may had to be specifically requested.
AM2 Naomi Library were made for Naomi HW and most certainly repurposed on DC for easy arcade portings.cloofoofoo wrote:VincentNL wrote:I were completely blown away by the fact Kunoichi were not the pakage name of AM2 Naomi Library SDK.

Wouldn't be the first time, they had a seperate low level sdk from katana and wince that had to be separately requested.
I wonder why even bother with naomi lib if ninja format then kamui2 was tightly integrated to the sdk/system. And it seems naomi did too.
