I wonder if there's a way to do anything about the button mappings? Apparently the game recognizes buttons A/B/C/X/Y/Z as 1/2/3/4/5/6, except on the pad A/B are in the bottom row and X/Y are in the top row, whereas on the arcade A/B/C is in the top row and X/Y/Z in the bottom one. Can this be somehow swapped with hex editing?
EDIT: this would actually make sense for all the ports, not just SamSho6. This way it wouldn't be necessary to fix the button mappings via nvram settings for every single game.
