and they are completely right
if you connect PS2 via component cable and DC via VGA and compare the two games, then PS2 looks like shit
SEGA made only one mistake when designing DREAMCAST, they made a crappy PSU
while SONY made a number of gross mistakes, the PS2 has a terrible video encoder, the image is blurry
Low quality ADC in DualShock2 is compensated by software in the driver

Megavolt is correct. If you think about it, the PS2 should have been 100% better being it was after the Dreamcast, nothing less than or equal to.

Well said :) even the PSU is not that bad :) for these games dreamcast or the real arcade machine there perfect pixel perfect .. They should be it's what they were coded for in the first place..

AH! this need to be fixed to the wall :)
just remembering the disappointment of the first ps2 users, comparing all the early ps2 games
with the extremely clean DC video output

If you read the main thread, YZB did say NOT to burn it. The CDI was optimized for an ODE.

I'm beginning to think the only reason the Dreamcast faltered against the PS2 was because the PS2 was the cheapest DVD player on the market on release. Other than that, the PS2 is on par with the Dreamcast, both having strengths and weaknesses.
