Thoughts on this as a handheld alternative?

What I meant was that I was thinking about picking up a handlheld so I can enjoy my old school gaming when on the road. The Sega Nomad seemd like a good option... being a portible Genesis and all.

But ont he other hand we have the far more obscure Neo*Geo Pocket Color that has an excellent library of games, and is Teh Sechs.

I was also thinking of doing up a DS, cause DS's are pimptastical.

Well the only thing about Nomads are they're pretty expensive and have a short battery life.

I see them go for like $60.00-$80.00 on Ebay in good shape.... a lot cheaper then a PSP or a DS... and a HUGE library. I had a GBA which was pretty nice, but i gave it to my little bro-in-law.

Nomad is rather bulky. It's definetly portable, but not the sort of thing you can just shove into your pocket and play easily on the go. Also, I rarely take it out of the house because if something were to happen to it repair or replacement isn't something I'd like to think about.

And that is a good way of going about it. ;)
