Nice Bob
Give Monaco a try with that wheel. Im curious to see how it works.
It's got to be better then the controller
radkin says it is. btw, she would have played Q3 last night but she left her GD-ROM here when we played online last time. She'll be picking it up on Monday, then making another Q3 run on Friday.
Is there an hope for the Hall of fame and Classification features to be fixed? ("Database connect error")
Of course it's not a priority compared to working on getting another game back online.
Also I wonder if the Hall of Fame/Classification allows you to upload/download ghost of the best times or if it's just a kind of leaderboards. Anyone knows?

Shu is working on it.

They're just leaderboards Here are the descriptions from the manual:
Hall of Fame - In this page all time records are saved for all 17 circuits, for both modes of racing (arcade and simulation) and for both circuit lengths.
Classification - Here you can see any time what your exact position in the rankings is and who the top 10 players are.
Thanks pcwzrd13, would you be kind enough to scan or photograph the manual for us pirates (and for securing its preservation)? I'm curious about the manual explanations on a few other things...

Yeah I was thinking of scanning it since it's one of the few DC games that doesn't have a scan online.
Tomorrow I will try to update the ubi-server with the following:
1. Master change during gameplay, that is, if someone quits or gets disconnected someone else will take over and the game will continue.
2. Classification will work, but not yet hall of fame.
3. Points from Championship races will be recorded
4. Every lap/track record will be stored in the DB until Hall of Fame works.
5. If you are in a game you will not be kicked out if you don't send keepalive to the lobby.
6. Different servertime-handling with milliseconds (this is good, that is all you need to know).
7. Added extra handling of timeout/relogin issues.
