keep in mind there's lots of trial and error involved and cost of parts for all these tests. Plus still cheaper than a OEM cable in ebay

Yea, $75 is a little much for me too. Expecially since, there is not a whole lot of games that support it.

I don't think the price of the SEGA or Dragoncast cable is relevant, it should be priced based on the effective cost to design/produce it.

Plenty of people have built their own cable for themselves and said it was very simple.

But having someone based in USA producing high quality cables by hand on demand for a niche market, that's another matter. I understand it needs to be worth it financially.

Sadly for EU there's also the high shipping + customs tax cost to add.

What would be really great is if a homebrew game would use the VS mode.

I can make some for about half that price. I already made a few. Tested them with both F355 and Sega Tetris and they work great. They are quite difficult to make by hand but I'm hoping I'll get more efficient at it as I make more.
