Wow, this topic got popular. Maybe I should check DC-Talk more. :lol:

I really like Sega Specter. Still think Spectrum is the best name though. Kind of gives off the same vibe that "Dreamcast" does, and also has a subtle message about the console having loads of different genres of games, covering the entire spectrum.

But in all seriousness, if they were to continue with the planet theme, Mercury wouldn't be too bad (though it is the codename of the Game Gear). Heck, why be relegated to just planets; what about galaxy names like the Sega Andromeda? (Which now that I think about it, sounds more like a codename than anything else.)

Andromeda is being used by Microsoft currently... Sirius would be a good name. "Are you Sirius?!" could be the slogan 8-)
