Games aren't listing properly on Dreamcast Now

Hello there. o/
I noticed that when I went to do some shenanigans in Sonic Adventure 2, Dreamcast Now displayed Phantasy Star Online as the game I was playing. Is there a way this could be fixed so that I could have games like SA1 & 2, Jet Grind Radio, etc. displayed on my profile? I've noticed users who have those games displayed on theirs, but perhaps that was before this bug occurred.

It's not really a "bug". If it doesn't know what game you're playing, it will just show the last one you played; in this case, PSO. I think SA2 stopped showing up a long time ago. I'll check with Kazade and see if it's still in the code.

i do think probably it's a bug, yesterday i was online on nba with tact but he was listed as in chuchu rocket, then we switched to pod and i was still listen on nba, so there's should be a bug anyway

Sorry if I came off blunt. It was just something I noticed and wanted to report so it'd get fixed. xD

I just logged on Sonic Adventure 1 to upload a Time Attack and it still shows me playing Phantasy Star Online. Meanwhile, I noticed user Mongonk was logged on and presumably doing the exact same thing as me, yet it was listing the game properly for him?
I'm almost certain that this is a bug.



EDIT: I got Sonic Adventure 2 displaying properly!


Pcwzrd13 mentioned above that if it doesn't know what game you are playing, it will list the last game you played by default. I think this is because Dreamcast Now only detects a specific version of the game you're loading. For instance, Sonic Adventure 1 may have displayed PSO because I was playing on a different version of it (SEGA All-Stars disc).

I think I have them all but thanks. The DreamPipe URLs seem to have been why the some of the game sites not to show up actually. It seems it redirected from the original Sega site to the DreamPipe one too quickly for DC Now to catch it. Adding the DreamPipe URLs seemed to fix the issue.

I see. This means all the dreampipe addresses just need to be added to the DC Now code.
