modem not working

my modem for the dreampi isnt lighting up right. when i plug it in or power up the pi the lights will blink once and go back out but they dont come back on, neither light is on i mean. everything looks normal in dreampi to me. any ideas?

Also, see if the Pi itself is working (image shows up on screen, etc...

ive done that several times. unlugged everything and plugged back in. dreampi boots up fine from what i can tell. i can ping it and it responds. i have a 5v 2amp power supply, which has been working for a few days and was working today. now just no lights on the modem, i mean they blink when dream pi powers up. but thats all youll see of them

try unplugging the power chord and then unplug the modem off the pi, plug it back and plug the power back, it happened to me a time or two and i do actually think is the pi usb which is too loose...
