Tron, Hawk the Slayer (with Jack Palance) and Lord of the Rings. Tron might be considered Sci-fi, but it's just as much fantasy.

I like Tron but I haven't seen it too many times. Never saw Hawk the Slayer but I'm sure its hilarious.

Thanks for the honourable mentions, Coolinator.

I see mazonemayu thinks little of it, but it's a movie that was more "theatrical/stage/play-like" on film in outdoor settings instead of a stage. It was low budget unlike the other movies listed, but did cover the elf/dwarf/giant/witch-magic thing more true to the Tolken lore. I guess it's the hockey player in me being it was a pure team effort to win out.

SUMMARY:
If you like things with big money and special effects, do NOT watch "Hawk The Slayer" just as much as do not watch the original "Star Trek" because neither have "state-of-the-art" special effects. Both do have Golden Globe winners (Palance and Shatner)...if that matters...

Enjoy!

Bob Dobbs
