I just got this for thirty bucks, it's pretty good albeit difficult. I didn't even get to save at the first save point lol.

Can anyone tell me how to correctly input the unlimited lives code, I can't get it to work for the life of me. And I know I'll need em'. =)

I'm stuck on the volk's boat. I can't figure out what I have to do - I'm supposed to fix a bunch of different things, and I exited the captain's/navigator's quarters, but I've crawled all over the main boat map area and can't find out where to go next. I'll have to look at a guide or ultrapros videos again

you guys should check out my Evil Twin walkthrough, I've gotten past the part you mention

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... e=view_all

Evil Twin is a really nice little platformer it does however have a few issues such as poor physics and collisions etc, you can quite often just drop off a platform or fall through the floor or you wont be able to tell when your character will fall off, or there can be graphical glitches etc, but if you give it some time it can be a really charming little game. See if my walkthrough helps at all

Dark, do you mean the FOLK boat? If so, the last 5/6 episodes or more have all been about completing the Folk boak, dunno about VOLK though lol

I just want to say that its 6 years later and I've never beaten this game. A long time ago I got to the engine room of the folk's boat where there is a lengthy action packed platforming area full of hazards and I've never been able to beat that with the awkward controls and camera. It wasn't that near a save point either so it just feels like a chore to get to that area to even try getting through it. This game is really cool, but the part I've been stuck on for years just feels like a slog. Not sure if I'll ever get past it, I'm so sick of the boat levels.

@dark did you ever have a look at my walkthrough to see if there was another way to get through that part? I also never completed the game and have since stopped doing my youtube channel but would love to go back and beat it again. Such a great game but I agree the controls make it a bit difficult to complete and the save points are pretty unforgiving

You clearly got through that part because you get to some different worlds after the boat escapade that I never even got to see in my run. I looked around through several of your videos but its hard to know where this part comes, I couldn't easily find it and I'm not hugely motivated to scroll through every video in depth.

I propose a new description: Evil Twin, the video game that beats you.

OK Fair enough, you have however spurred me on to complete the game now lol, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!! What do I get if I complete the game?

I might go back over my videos and see if I can find which one had the part you talked about. Can you explain again which part you were stuck on but try and be as specific as possible? I might just watch them all back from the beginning

Ok lemme see checking my memories from 6 years ago... I felt like I'd spent hours on the boat already doing different challenges, including other platforming stages inside the boat. I think I had recently been on the roof of the boat. The action area I had trouble with was inside the boat again in a dark enclosed area. I think there was big machinery like gears turning that you had to climb and jump around on. Maybe it was the ships engine? Weren't they having trouble actually using the engine on that boat? I think there might have been some lava or fire stuff as well in connection with the machinery. I remember thinking I must be close to finishing all the boat stuff. .. But who knows, the boat stuff seems to drag on forever.
