what if flippy is on a seperate vlan and the gateway and dns settings are incorrect?
and lets just throw in the subnet is wrong and mac filtering is enabled lol j/k

lol let's just assume they are using a crappy ISP provided gateway and not a cisco network with layer 3 switching
network issues can be such a pain in the ass because there are so many things that could be the issue.
to top it off, trying to troubleshoot the issues over text with no way to view the problem in rl.
it all becomes hypothetical analysis while putting band aids on everything until it finally works lol.
starting with the simple stuff first and then gradually getting to the point that you might need to pass a ccna exam to fix it lol.

Yeah I get what you mean, sucks that this is probably the only network issue happening to me that I can't get a fix on. I can host and play anything on any game PC related but somehow all the things that I did won't work at all, still makes me wonder why does the Wi-Fi connection works flawlessly and when I use the cable it won't work at all.
