phantasy star online and VMU's

ok so im getting mixed info from google. how many save blocks do i need for phantasy star online? wanna make sure i buy my friend the right size memory card some sites say 15 some say 30 some say as much as 194 blocks

would a standard 200 block oem vmu be enough or no?

I've just checked my PSO V2 save file and it was 30 blocks for the guild card and 15 blocks for the main save file, so 45 blocks in total. I'm using a standard VMU so you will be fine

Edit: You might need more blocks if you download any extra quests etc.
45 blocks is for the base game with no dlc. I don't have my dreamcast connected to the Internet so I don't know how much more memory you would need.
