So I recently acquired a GDEMU clone and promptly built a 128gb ad card filled with my favorite games. Obviously, some games didn't have artwork so I downloaded the necessary software to extract and rebuild GDIs and created PVRs for every game without artwork. This worked brilliantly for the odd 30 games that I did.
But one game, JUST ONE refuses to cooperate. Metropolis Street Racer. Oh, the artwork appears fine in the menu, but the game crashes after the intro video - the DC reboots and goes back in the GDEMU menu.
Now if I extract/rebuild the GDI and remove the pvr file, the game works fine. I've even downloaded the games from different sources and experience the same issue.
What gives?

Metropolis Street Racer does not read the disk table of contents to find out where the file is, all links to the files are defined in the executable
If at least one file changes, you will be reloaded after the introduction
Download your 0GDTEX.PVR here and tell us which version you are using, PAL or NTSC

Re: Odd behavior after adding game art in gdemu menu
I am using NTSC version 1.010
I've attached my 0GDTEX in .rar format, as the message board does not seem to accept .pvr extensions

Oh wow... Thank you so much! Will download this and give it a try! This bothered me to no end, it was the only game out of a hundred that didn't have cover art.

I'm trying to use pvr in the cdi but it doesn't start the game like Lazyboot. GDI for cdi does not work if you add 0GDTEX.PVR customized.megavolt85 wrote:Metropolis Street Racer does not read the disk table of contents to find out where the file is, all links to the files are defined in the executable

I have the same problem with MSR. Can you create a image from PAL version with this file? Or explain how i can insert the custom file without crash the game.
All of my games works fine in GDEmu with my custom images except MSR.
Thanks a lot!
