Newb Mod Help

Hey all, I have been reunited with the Dreamcast after 15+ years and couldn’t be happier. I’m looking for some help deciding on some mods. There are a lot of them and conflicting or non-finite info on all of them.

Background: I have a NTSC-U 1 console. I am using a Hyperkin HDMI cable to connect to a TCL 4K TV.

Problems: So far I have 2 games that will not work with the Hyperkin HDMI cable, Conflict Zone and Tee Off (don’t judge me ha)

Needs: I want a mod so I don’t have to keep switching cables. I’ve looked around and it looks like DCHDMI mod could be a solution though pricey as they are not currently available through normal venues. (One on eBay for $215). Also saw the Akura box but also not available currently. I’m impatient ha, but am willing to pay a mark up on third party sellers if I can verify if either of these will solve the constant cable switching issue. (PS I am more than capable of performing the DCHDMI mod myself so no extra cost for install). I have no interest in going the OSSC route, to much time setting up and the Dreamcast is the only retro system I care to play.

Needs #2 I really want to play Shenmue 2 so again looking for the right BIOS mod to have region free abilities. Also I assume I would be purchasing the PAL version. No interest in any options outside of using the systems GD-ROM.
