This is fantastic, we can connect many accessories and have more VMU space. Thanks megavolt85 for keeping the dreamcast alive. I am eager to know everything related to the project to do it myself.

is adapter for connect PlayStation 1/2 controller, Saturn/MegaDrive 6 button gamepad and PS/2 mouse/keyboard to Dreamcast
if you solder M25PE16 spi memory, then adapter emulate VMU with 16 banks

you alredy can buy "Blue Pill" (STM32F103C8T6) board, M25PE16 SPI memory and connectors

Very very interesting! Do all cards behave as the ‘standard’ size Dreamcast VMU? As opposed to official Sega 4x cars with it’s restrictions on certain games?

I wonder, could this just be assembled as an in-line device using one of the Dreamcast controller extension cables?

I also wonder if there is any way to integrate VMU screen parts so that it would automatically switch between cards and function as the standard VMU display does?
