Happy to hear you did get an edition with OST + compensation. That being said, while the team did sent out updates in regards to the delay(s), they never contacted me (nor make any updates on the update page at Kickstarter) to inform about the fact that the limited to 500 copies edition was not going to be made. I highly doubt covid had any influence for the team to decide to drop the 500 limited and go for a 1000 limited edition instead.
This is what I received. I must admit backing kickstarters for me has burnt out. I have Intrepid Izzy to come who have been fantastic with updates and to be fair Pixelheart did provid regular updates too but then didn't deliver the full product and for me a game that needed a little more testing and improving.

"Dear gamer,
Due to the international covid situation we didn’t had the Opportunity to produce some extras and goodies.
We are sincerely sorry and apologize for that conveniance, but in Pixelheart Company we want to stay close to our customers.

Actually ,
The limited edition of 500 copies of the the CD Original Soundtrack were not numbered and the miniature die-cast toy car was not produced.

First of all, Pixelheart refund you the difference between the original price of the game and that version ;

On the other hand we suggest you to choose between those two following solutions:
Pixelheart company offers you the game Arcade Racing Legends on Nintendo Switch (box with a code) available on March 2021
OR
Pixelheart company offers you one Us-Jap Dreamcast game that you can select in our website : Pixelheart.eu

Thank you for your loyalty , the entire Pixelheart teams and employees crews wish you the best and hope everybody is home safe.

Stay safe, play home

How is anyone finishing this game so quickly? I find the Arcade races, and some of the career races ( like the 1st one against an opponent in the snow) to be unfairly difficult. Every car's max speed is 196 no matter how you tune it. There seems to be no possible way to catch up, for the Ai racers appear to never slow down, even in the curves. And they take those curves in the snow at least, at a speed which we can't match. Perhaps it's because I have the "Road Trip" Edition which might have a higher difficulty? But I doubt it. I've yet to even beat the first Arcade race, and I'm stuck somewhere in the single digits in the career. Can't seem to stay ahead of the Ai. And let's not even bring up the top lap times in some of these courses. When there is a nearly 30 second difference between my fastest lap, and the top lap, with no way to go above 196 it's just impossible.

You may have an issue with your save for the lap times but I strolled through the game. The video is on youtube of me doing the arcade tracks, all on my first go. I have to redo career mode as my first save wouldn't let me access arcade mode except for the extra track I unlocked on completion and I have only bothered to record the first 8 days again.

I like this game, for me it's closed to Suzuki all star racing.
The kickstarter is quiet respected.
There is also some bugs...
Do you have try thé dual mode ?
Technicaly is good but the second player don't have engine sound, no slow down when the second player hit a bar, no cloud effect during breaking.
And the second player can't win

That's a pretty major bug.

I wonder if this is all versions of it? why would this not be beta tested? does this happen from the ripp only or does it work on the real mil cd..

I'll test this on both my Dreamcast and Redream as I'm testing with steering wheel tonight. I own the Road Trip Edition so the rip for Redream is direct.

I can confirm in Redream this is an issue. I just did a duel. Finished with player 2 first then player 1 and player 1 won.... no sound on player 2 for their vehicle. I'm off to test on my Dreamcast. This game is bugging me more by day, it's not been playtested enough.
