Audio dropping out every 30 seconds or so with DCHDMI + Serial Port

Post by 2Devastado »

So I've been enjoying the Atomiswave Dreamcast ports using the serial port with an SD adapter. It works great but I recently updated my DCHDMI firmware to 4.7 and I've been experiencing audio dropouts about every 30 seconds or so. It basically drops out and then comes back after a second. Anyone else have a DCHDMI and have the same problem. I'm using the relaxed firmware with some new HQ2x filter so maybe that is it?

Hello, I have DCHDMI too and never experienced this problem, but i recommend to try with another games from GDRom drive to see if the problem exist. My opinion is maybe this come from SD adapter.

So after some testing, the issue doesn't happen in Standard firmware just relaxed. Which is a shame since relaxed only has the 2X and HQ2X filters. My only other guess is maybe because I'm playing the games in 960p?
