IDE mod on v2.1?

Hi all

I recently finished a piggyback bios mod on my V2.1 DC (BTW since the V2.1 is not very common, other people might find it helpful to know that transistor D501 is located on the bottom of the motherboard).

I'd like to do the IDE mod next to add a hard drive.
Can anyone tell me if the IDE mod is possible with the V2.1? If yes, is there a guide for this version that someone can point me to?
