megavolt85 from assemblergames made a CDI release and enhanced the SDISO with 0GDTEX.PVR. I attached it to the main post and the original SDISO is still available

Thanks very much!

Though shouldn't this be a updated MG collection? I recall the one from TiZ and all the emulators and translations may as well have been dated

Just to make the CDI a eeny wit bigger lolll..

nah if you read the readme in original post, the image was built from scratch, i patched the english translations into the ROM myself with the latest translation patches, patched MG1 to be able to save to VMU via gamemaster2 SRAM (details how to save in the readme)

pretty much the big plus for this release is you can save to VMU, thus you can complete both games on dreamcast

IIRC the TiZ collection barely worked and you couldn't save, that's why i made this

Yeah that older version on TIZ I had uploaded from SNESORAMA back circa 2010 or so. It was kind of hard to even get working honestly. So an updated version much easier to use like this is much appreciated.

I appreciate the time and effort put into this. Unfortunately I'm having a little trouble.

I tried extracting MetalGear_MSX_Collection.iso and adding it to my GDEMU, but it fails to load when I try. It just fades back to the CD Player in the BIOS menu, like it does with a disc that doesn't contain/can't load a game.

Is this useable with GDEMU?
