I burned a CDI of Winning Eleven 3 for the Dreamcast because the Dreamcast doesnt have very good Soccer/Football games, but the file i burned was only 200mb which is not even half the size of the Disk.
Will this make the Dreamcast laser have trouble reading it and wear out the laser?
Will a Bleem CDI game with only 200mb damage the laser?

Nah haha, the entirety of Half-Life is smaller than that!

You actually can add a dummy file to a selfboot Bleem but I don't think it's worth it.

Thank you for the replies : D
I dont understand very much about programming and stuff but i was wondering if the rom had to have a dummy file added to fill the rest of the space in the cd to not wear out the laser.

the dummy file shifts the payload towards the end of the disk, which increases the read speed
image size has no effect on laser wear
