Sorry if this has been asked before, didn't see it. Me and a bud were planning on playing some PSO online together, however he only owns a PC, not a Dreamcast. He has a working version of the PC PSO (The one which came before Blue Burst and mainly functions like Version 2), however I know the two are kinda different.
Can we still crossplay together?
Can Dreamcast PSO play with the original PC version (Not Blue Burst)?

Jumping in for an additional question.
Is crossplay between PC and Dreamcast possible?
If yes, does a specific version of the game need to be used for it to work?
Thanks

Re: Can Dreamcast PSO play with the original PC version (Not Blue Burst)?
As long as you are using the full game of PSO for PC (and not Blue Burst, of course), then yes, it is pretty much fully compatible.
PC users can choose to make their teams allow DC users (or not), and DC users can technically bar PC users from joining their teams (but I doubt anyone really does that).
