I'm having a hard time. It seems like my biggest hurdle is actually my PC, but I have 0 coding experience or understanding. I'm just a fool who uses tools made by smarter people. So maybe there's something really easy here I'm missing but I don't feel like I actually got to any confusing bits yet.
To my understanding I need have DreamSDK installed to compile any version of OpenBOR that didn't come with the 1st_read.bin in the DC folder into a 1st_read.bin? There is no compiling program or tool, bat, anything like that to compile it outside of the SDK?
And first I must install Python 2.7, Git, and Silk Subversion to install DreamSDK, then I need DreamSDK to install KallistiOS? Where it all falls apart for me is installing DreamSDK. I keep getting the prerequisites error message when I go to install. I've installed Python, Git, and Silk then rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted. I still get the error and remain unable to install DreamSDK.
I can launch Python 2.7 fine, I can launch Git fine. Silk, tbh, is the most mysterious to me, I don't really know what any of the programs do but Silk doesn't have a launcher so my only confirmation is seeing it listed as a program I could remove through c-panel's uninstall programs or when I launch the install package it does confirm already being installed.
So, I'm at a loss. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

- Dreamcast Games you play Online: none yet, didn't realize this was around. Figuring it all out, but I still have my DC and games.
