Tone. As I said the network config is fine. I tried all the standard tutorials for dreampi network settings.

the error that occurs in this tool has nothing to do with Internet access
your problem lies either in the incorrect setting of the Internet on the dreamcast, or in the poorly soldered LINE connector in the dreamcast modem
If it is a hardware error, wouldn't what is present here detect that?
Also, since you're saying that the errors in the tools have nothing to do with internet access, I presume you understand what the errors mean. Since I couldn't find any documentation online through a light google search, maybe you wouldn't mind explaining what errors are present

Have you tried replacing the modem on the Dreamcast? Or using a different Dreamcast/modem. I'm pretty sure there was a picture of your setup previously in the post. But I can't seem to find it again. Would you mind uploading the setup you're using? Like the pi, and all that.

these are low-level commands for GD-ROM
ODE has limited commands and does not comply with the full ATA and SPI (Sega Packet Interface) specification, so the test freezes
Zoarb wrote: Have you tried replacing the modem on the Dreamcast?
I and several of my friends faced a similar problem, everything was solved by soldering the LINE connector in the modem, soldering cracks from old age

That's actually really good to know! Thank you.
Would replacing the modem fix the issue though? Or is the issue with the dreampi setup itself, and not the adapter connected to the Dreamcast?
No hate. I'm just trying to learn
Forgive me, I was asking the OP for their setup. I thought I saw it in a prior post, but I can't find it now. I should have been more specific.

For some reason all my photos have been removed from the post. I will redo and upload. I have another modem from a Jap version. I tried and wasn't working either but was unsure if it maybe was ntsc. Would it be compatible with my line inducer set at 18 volt?
