Anyone know of any emulators that support an adjustable game speed setting? You know like the ones found on NES emulators. I have a lot of random battles I need to do on Skies of Arcadia to increase my stats but it will take a long time with the default game speed. Maybe I'll do it on 3x speed if possible.
Also what is the best overall emulator for the Dreamcast that is free to use?
Thank you!

You mean fast forward ? If yes you can use Redream (free if you do not care having high resolution possibility and multiple save state slots otherwise you have to buy it, it is worth it for less than 10 bucks IMHO).Raikusu wrote:Anyone know of any emulators that support an adjustable game speed setting? Is there another name for the fast forward feature? I tried looking for a fast forward feature in Demul, Flycast, and redream but it may go by a different name.

Re: Dreamcast Emulators with 2x Speed Setting
pretty sure redream it's just frameskip
nulldc turn off these will go to 500mhz and speed it super up
Turn off sync and limit etc

For Redream it is called "Turbo" and it is mapped to "select" in general on XBOX controllers. You can change it if you want.Raikusu wrote:Is there another name for the fast forward feature? I tried looking for a fast forward feature in Demul, Flycast, and redream but it may go by a different name.
I do not think it is frameskip as scrolling is smooth. It is very fast.

Re: Dreamcast Emulators with 2x Speed Setting
seems Flycast too has a fast forward option, it is in the same controller mapping section
it is mapped on spacebar by default :
