I got the LAN adapter back in 06 (accidentally) and used the LAN version of dc load. Felt like we were the only 2 people on the planet that had one, and he was the only one who wrote software for it! I translated and added dreampassport 2 for LAN to dreamarena 3 (coming soon) kind of in his honour. Wish I had it back in the day! Dan Potter was (still is) a rockstar to me

Looking forward to part 2
Cheers Ian

Man, aside from recounting the history of notable programmers, there's all kinds of weird drama that could be covered in a video series. Like the time folks at dcemulation pretended to have created a partially working N64 emulator on the dreamcast just to drum up interest in the site. Or the time the staff of dcemulation took all the dcemulation.com content and put it up on a different site in order to emancipate themselves from 007cheater, a guy who created the original dcemulation website but who had lost interest and was allegedly pushing unrelated content on the site in an effort to monetize things for his personal gain.

I had no idea something happened to Dan Potter. Only know him from his creation of kos. I assume something tragic happened to him from how you allude to things. That's too bad.
