Rechargeable CR2032s

Post by Londinium »

It's a fucking pain having to replace these damn batteries every month, and it's a pain listening to that ear piercing BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Wondering if you all might have some info.

Is it safe? Everytime I read the packaging of the batteries at the store it states NOT to recharge them. Wondering if this means there's specific batteries that CAN be recharged safely without running the risk of dying by Dreamcast. If so, what are they and where can I find them?

I'm assuming that if there's specific rechargeable CR2032s, there's also a charger that comes along with them.

If it's only the beeping that's annoying you - you can just open the VMU with a screwdriver and cut the two wires(red and black) that connect the board to the internal speaker.
I'd did it some time ago. Took me less than 10 minutes.
