Yeahhh...I know what you mean. Plus another thing that sucks,
is having to rely on someone to keep the games online. You
never know what's going to happen. It's depressing when such
a great game has complications as to getting online, and making
it not so easy fro everyone to just play. Kind of unfair...

Re: PSOv2 PAL
You will need the following:
1. Either a BBA connection to a PC or a DC-PC serial cable.
2. Software tools to perform the rip (for the PC).
3. PSO v2 PAL loaded in the DC (lol).
4. Murphy to be on vacation (reference to Murphy's Law)
Tools:
http://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_utils_rip.shtml
(caution, if u r a Windows user, get the win32 version (DC ripping sees to be mostly a Linux thing).
Guide:

Serial Cable:
I'm currently looking into this. I cannot find one on Play-Asia nor The GOAT Store. Building one is insane.

Re: PSOv2 PAL
Instead of a torrent maybe uploading it to a website like megaupload or something once you find out how to rip it.
I also think some dvd drives have the ability to read dreamcast games

Re: PSOv2 PAL
You are correct, some DVD drives can, but extracting the files off is the problem. It's not like drag and drop, there is some data that windows cannot detect.

Thanks Dobbs. I will look into those links.
Is there no program for 32 bit windows users to use broadband transfer? Now I wish I would have bought a coders cable from lik-sang before they went down (only $19).

Re: PSOv2 PAL
Your best bet according to Segagaga, is to use the BBA cable to the PC because speed is much faster than using the serial port. If you do not have a BBA, then you must get the Dreamcast coder's cable.

Re: PSOv2 PAL
Hi i'm new at this forum, but i've already seen some of you talking about this on other DC related forums.
So... have someone made an PAL PSO V.2 ISO? I guess not, but i'm just asking because this topic stopped...
Can i help in something??? I really want the PSO v.2 for DC back online again...
At this very moment I really don't have much time to search about this, because the classes are killing me, but some friends of mine are searching for a solution and i'll join them and everybody on the summer vacations (december).
So, if someone wanna share some info and/or say what we need (what's the current problem) to put this AWESOME game back online i would be grateful.
I'm waiting your answer...

Hey, Leo_GDT! Welcome to the forums, thanks for joining .
Recently there has been some development on this issue. Here is another topic in the forums you would probably be interested in checking out : http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=264
It talks about the creation of an actual pso ver.2 pal iso and its possible release soon.
