So, I know we've had some developments for engines, libraries, tools for the Dreamcast over the years. I been learning an engine called Godot. The engine does an excellent job on 2d and has been improving on 3d with each update. The engine is lightweight, doesn't require installation, and Sega even used it to develop a game on the switch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ps1mxM6_nc First section of the video.
now being that its open source, is coded with a variety of languages including C# and C++, and others TS, RUST, Python, Lua , Kotlin and its own native language GD Script. I've seen project that worked with quake engine files as well.
Now being that its open source, portable to consoles. even though third party companies do that part. would you think its possible to make this able to support the Dreamcast with KOS?
