Power Stone crash and sound issue

Hello
I recently got a brand new Pal copy of Power Stone.

I noticed that randomly, the game can crash during the loading screen, forcing me to turn off the console.
A few times instead, the sound fx disappeared during gameplay and only music remained.

It's the only game that show this issue, and since it' was a brand new unopened copy and disc seems perfect, it seems more like a print issue, a code bug or an hardware incompatibility with this game in particular.

Do you know anything about this issue? Is it common?
I only found one topic around about this same issue, that end up with Eidos blaming the Dreamcast made in Indonesia.
