im on pso gc.
love it. it doesnt have the nostalgia pso dc has to offer.. But on the other hand i love the shorter loading times, the graphics improvements.. And of course.. EP2!!

Getting online with the cube is easier than on any other console.. Just use your original PSO disk.. Go to network options.. Set pso server ip address...

AND YOU ARE DONE!

Everything on GC looks more shiny, brilliant. Some effects added, like when you step water in the forest..

Improvements, its not an hd conversion of the original but heh its still something..

so what you're saying is that the gc version simply hooked to a tv looks better than the dc version through vga? (yes, I'm putting it that way, coz thats the way both consoles SHOULD be played)

I believe the only thing shinier on the GC is the hud, wich makes the hud + cenery look more balanced and greenish, on ver.2 the hud is dark and bringing the menu makes a black area apear, on the GC it's a semi transparent greenish patern.

While on GC everything is greenish, on DC it's black or dark blue

Certain things do have better quality, but most are the same.

The burned copy keeps cutting out at the terms and conditions page at the start of the game, I even burned at x1 speed

The big difference between The Dreamcast and The Gamecube is reliability I've went through a couple Cubes so far and on real games I get error messages, sometimes you can hear the Dreamcast push on with whatever disk its using there is a bit more heart in the console.
