Here is the gdemu pics. It's no longer working, just getting a black screen on both consoles. https://imgur.com/a/xJAXtQc
I've got a new gdemu on order, but will take a couple weeks to arrive.

these cut connectors caused a lot of problems to users
Indeed. Some are only 5mm-6mm tall instead of 8mm tall, so getting good contact with the motherboard connector can be iffy.
Hopefully, he'll get a better quality board with newer firmware.
Avoid this type of GDEMU connector

I took a multimeter to the board and it has a ton of shorted parts. I think it finally gave up. Not sure what to do with it at this point.
I'll report back when I get the new one.
5.20.5 arrived and is in the va0.
Using the SD tool with the gdemu button checked it still goes back to system menu after selecting a game.
Using the Openmenu button, games boot every time with the default theme and gdemu theme.
There is no point in checking GDMENU, there are no changes for it and there will not be any.
I need you to do several tests, firstly when using GDEMU 5.20.x you need to add the line image_tests=0 to the GDMENU.ini file on your SD card
What images did you try, where did you download them?
try running the game using codebreaker, select the game and press the B button.
image_tests=0 will disable strict image checking, some GDI cannot be recognized, for example all atomiswave games.
launching games with the B button uses a codebreaker, but it uses a different way to launch games
My task at this stage is to understand what exactly is blocking the launch.
P.S. I have a suspicion that there are two types of Bios 1.01c
In Openmenu, codebreaker loads and does apply a cheat. I tried infinite time on Crazy Taxi and it worked.
Is there a way to dump the bios? I do have an serial/SD adapter but never messed with it.
