I am brand new to this forum. I was wondering if most of these games work with a physical dreamcast or thru emulation?

for example, daytona usa.. could I use a physical dreamcast to play online? or NFL 2k2

Welcome! All games work with a real dreamcast and that's the preferred method. You will need a dreampi however to setup a dialup over broadband connection. Dreamcastlive.net has more info!

A lot of games can not be played online through emulation unfortunately.
