Analog stick on OEM Dreamcast controller has drift problem

My analog stick is loose where the stick doesn't go to the centre like it should do and sometimes stay on the right which makes it annoying to play Sonic Adventure when I don't want Sonic moving in that direction.

I tried to search answers online but I just get the "I have never experience that" sort of answer. Is there a way to fix it or is it worth just getting an RetroFighter controller?
