500mv on 3v charging circuit.
Hello all. I have been trying to figure out this problem I am having. I have a VAO1 dc and I've done the battery holder mod. Replaced it with a ML2023 battery. After I replaced it I noticed the console was still not keeping date and time. I left it on for 12+ hours before testing. I took my multimeter and tested voltage at the battery and it fluctuates between 350 and 500mv. That's both with the battery in the holder and no battery in the holder. I checked the pin on the ribbon cable between the motherboard and controller board and that also reads 500mv. I took the motherboard out and ran the system outside of the case. I tested voltage at the last diode on the 3v charging circuit before it goes to the controller board and it reads 3.1v. I noticed when I plug in the controller board, this drops to 500mv. I replaced the controller board and the same thing. I even replaced the motherboard and I get the same readings. Am I going crazy? Any help would be awesome.
