1. Download and extract "folder_icons.zip" (attached at the bottom of this post).megavolt85 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:13 pmoh yeah, we need instructions, and more icon sets for every taste and color
2. Navigate to the "GDMENUCardManager.v2.0.0-win-x64\tools\openMenu\menu_data" folder and rename "DIR.PVR" to "OLDDIR.PVR" (or any other file name of your choosing for purposes of backing up the original).
3. Copy "DIR.PVR" from "folder_icons.zip" to the "GDMENUCardManager.v2.0.0-win-x64\tools\openMenu\menu_data" folder.
4. Launch the openMenu DAT Editor tool (tutorial can be found here: https://youtu.be/QjUgXkdiVq4).
5. Add new game entries for all 26 letters (A through Z), as well as the # symbol. The ID to use for each folder icon should match the file name from the "folder_icons.zip" archive. For example, # is A0, A is AA, B is AB, C is AC, etc.

6. After creating a new game entry with two-character code described above, import the corresponding folder icon PNG using the DAT Editor and select "Copy to Icon". Repeat this for all characters.
7. Per the tutorial video, save your DATs back to the "GDMENUCardManager.v2.0.0-win-x64\tools\openMenu\menu_data" folder.
8. Launch GD Menu Card Manager with your SD card inserted into your computer, then click "Save" to rebuild openMenu with your new folder icons.
9. After booting the console, press Start to enter openMenu settings and then set the sorting option to "Name".
