Any way to exit out of Dreamshell 4.0 back to the DC Bios / GDEmu menu?

Post by PGSK »

So basically, I'm mainly using Dreamshell to back my saves up onto an SD card in an adapter for the Serial port, so that I can then delete them from the VMUs to free up space, and it's all working nicely, but I've been wondering... is there any built-in way of exiting out of Dreamshell back to either the DC Bios or the GDEmu menu (OpenMenu in my case) that I'm missing, or is fully restarting the console the only way? I tried the classic all face buttons + Start combo, but that doesn't seem to work.

Not that it's a huge deal, it's just that considering I don't keep batteries in my VMUs, it can be slightly annoying to have to deal with them beeping after every use of DreamShell due to being forced to fully restart the console lol

you will learn to love the beeping, you can have 8 VMUs connected at once! Try it out! It’s a powerful sound !

I opened my vmu and cut the two cables that are leading to the speaker. Took me less than 10 Minutes.

The VMU beeps are annoying but not that much of a problem, I was mainly just wondering whether there actually is a way to quit out of DreamShell without hard restarting the console or not lol
